 Step aboard an open air trolley and travel through Juneau's historic downtown district, on your way to the Douglas Island overlook, where you can take a photo of your ship against Juneau's beautiful mountain-scape. Your experienced driver/guide will provide an informative narration on the history of Alaska's capital city, point out buildings of historical and architectural interest and discuss the history of the Treadwell gold mine. Travel past Alaska's oldest operating hotel, the Capitol building, the Governor's Mansion and over the Juneau-Douglas bridge. This 45-minute tour will provide you with a quick way to view some of the most intriguing areas of downtown Juneau and allow you to be dropped off in town to experience local art galleries, shops and restaurants.
