Environmental Responsibility

Alaska’s beauty is rivaled by few. One of our top priorities is to always be looking toward the future, and doing our part to maintain the pristine ecosystem visitors come to see year after year.

We follow sustainable practices such as using ultra-low sulfur fuel and a no idling policy to reduce CO2 emissions. We are also one of the first tour companies in Southeast Alaska testing out bio-diesel fuel options as well.

Beyond the conservation of Alaska’s physical environment, Alaska Coach Tours also values diversity and the indigenous cultural heritage which make up the vitality of the region. We partner with Southeast Alaskan businesses, heritage groups and services to promote shopping in the local communities and supporting the local economy.
